A Cooper's Hawk Pastry Cook is responsible for the daily preparation of food items in the pastry prep station or other areas of the kitchen. He or she will set up the station according to restaurant guideline and will prepare all food items in a sanitary and timely manner. Follows recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications set by restaurant. Restocks all items as needed throughout the shift. Cleans and maintains station using good safety, sanitation, and organizational skills. Understands how to properly use and maintain all equipment in station. Assists with the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of kitchen, walk-in coolers, and all storage areas.

• Basic understanding of professional cooking and food handling skills.
• Must wear a mask and follow safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures.
• Previous pastry or cold line cook experience preferred.
• Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure.
• Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with supervisors, employees, and dining room staff. Must be able to be mobile for extended periods of time.
• Must have the ability to lift pots, pans, etc., up to 40 pounds in weight.
• Must possess finger dexterity to use small tools adeptly.
• Must be able to follow instructions.
