• Identify and prioritize prep needs and provide recommendations for Kitchen Manager approval. • Responsible for ensuring receiving process is properly executed for food, wine, beer, liquor, retail, non-alcoholic beverages, Wasserstrom, and linens. • Responsible for ensuring the organization of walk-in coolers/freezers, dry storage, beer cooler, and wine storage meets Cooper’s Hawk standards. • Oversee and assist with the cleaning and sanitation of kitchen, walk-in coolers, and all storage areas. • Generate orders for food, wine, beer, liquor, retail, non-alcoholic beverages, Wasserstrom and chemicals. • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Esquire by Cooper’s Hawk kitchen team and daily operations. • Continuously improve food storage and product lifecycle knowledge. • Communicate with team members and management in a timely and professional manner to ensure a memorable Guest experience. • Maintain professional relationships with all managers and team members. • Follow departmental checklists and standard operating procedures. • Maintain a professional image at all times by adhering to all appearance and behavior guidelines in the employee handbook. • Perform other duties as assigned. • Must represent Esquire by Cooper’s Hawk Vision and Values • Must be at least 21 years old • A minimum of 6 months experience in upscale casual dining or an equivalent service environment required • Hard-working, team player • Basic knowledge of food quality and storage and the product life cycle • Strong organizational skills • Ability to stand and walk for up to 10 hours per day • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds • Ability to exert fast-paced mobility for periods of up to 6 hours in length • Ability to work within the following conditions: wet floors, temperature extremes, and loud noise • Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure • Must follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures • Must be able to read, write and understand English • Ability to follow instructions • Ability to perform essential functions to Cooper’s Hawk standards with reasonable accommodation • Ability to communicate clearly with managers and team members
