Mexico's Moment to Shine

At Cooper’s Hawk, we’re always exploring the future of wine — and sometimes, that future is found in unexpected places. We’re proud to introduce CHMX, a bold, fruit-forward red blend from Mexico’s Valle de Guadalupe, created in collaboration with one of the country’s most exciting producers: Monte Xanic.

CHMX

Inside the Bottle: Power Meets Precision

CHMX stands for Cooper’s Hawk Mexico — and Cooper’s Hawk x Monte Xanic — a name that reflects both origin and partnership. This blend of 58% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Durif (Petite Sirah), 7% Merlot, and 10% Petit Verdot delivers bold structure, juicy fruit, and savory complexity.

  •  Cabernet Sauvignon brings backbone and dark berry flavors.
  • Durif adds richness, color, and jammy intensity.
  • Merlot softens the edges with round, cherry-driven notes.
  • Petit Verdot adds floral aromatics and a savory, herbal lift.

We chose minimal oak aging to let the vibrant fruit shine. You’ll taste black cherry, blackberry jam, cedar, coffee, and dried herbs in every sip.

CHMX

A Wine Made for the Flame

CHMX was practically born for the grill. Its dark fruit and savory undertones pair beautifully with carne asada, grilled lamb, or charred vegetables. It’s a wine with presence — bold, generous, and deeply rooted in a sense of place. Whether you’re a longtime lover of Cabernet or a curious explorer of emerging wine regions, CHMX invites you to taste what Mexico has to say.

And trust us — it’s speaking loud and clear.
